Gunners fans let their manager know exactly what they thought of the decision to take off the Costa Rican, who had earlier opened the scoring against Swansea City
Arsenal supporters booed Arsene Wenger for his decision to substitute goalscorer Joel Campbell midway through the second half of the Premier League clash with Swansea.
The Costa Rican winger had opened the scoring for the Gunners but was hooked after 64 minutes, with Danny Welbeck coming on to replace him.
And Arsenal fans were clearly unhappy at the decision, with the boos ringing round the stadium as Campbell made his way off the pitch.
Having been an unused substitute for the defeat to Manchester United on Sunday, Campbell replaced Theo Walcott in the starting XI against the Swans and gave his side the lead inside the opening 15 minutes.
The visitors then equalised courtesy of a Wayne Routledge strike before Wenger rang the changes after half-time as his side struggled to find a goal to put them back in front at the Emirates Stadium.
And it went from bad to worse for the Gunners shortly after bringing Campbell off, as Ashley Williams bundled the ball home following a Gylfi Sigurdsson free-kick to give his side a shock lead
